“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19
FBCHville Missions Ministry seeks to connect every generation to service. Believers can grow in their relationship with Christ by living a lifestyle of missions. Whether it’s the local grocery store or a country on the other side of the world, the Good News of Jesus is for all people. And as followers of Christ, we are called to take this Good News to the ends of the earth.
First Baptist has opportunities to make missions a part of your everyday life through local partnerships, short term missions, and more!
Germany Mission Partners
Nickolai Skopych, his wife Kati, and their children Nikol and Martin had traveled to Germany in 2022. While there, Russia invaded Ukraine, and the Skopych family faced the decision of being refugees, immigrants, or missionaries. They knew the Lord had sent them to Germany to be missionaries. In April 2025, First Baptist Hendersonville partnered with Almaz Church and purchased a building in Gummersbach, Germany. Each month, FBCH members have traveled to Germany to work on the renovation of Almaz Center. The Center will serve as a worship space and a place to train new pastors and leaders in the Ukrainian Missionary Movement (UMM).
Short Term Trips
Serve stateside with a church plant or revitalization partner, spend spring break on week long trips, or go internationally on quick support trips! Short term missions are a great way to engage with the nations, both locally and abroad. These quick trips can be as short as a weekend, or a little over a week.

Revitalization Partners
CrossRoads Church, Westmoreland, TN
FBCHville began a partnership with CrossRoads Church Westmoreland in 2022. The church, which meets on a campus located at a literal crossroads of Highways 31 and 52, was down to about 30 attendees. In January 2023, Chuck Workman was brought on as pastor of CrossRoads. The church now has over 200 in attendance. In 2024, they built an adaptive playground available to the community and in July of 2026, they hired Jeremiah Scott as associate pastor. Since January of 2023, the church has already baptized over 90 people.
Guatemala Partnership
While our church serves in many different areas around the globe, we have a unique partnership with Guatemala.
In 2018, FBCHville began a partnership with a Baptist Church in Guatemala through Volunteer Baptists International (VBI). Today, FBCHville partners with VBI and Hebron Church in the Peten region of Guatemala. Multiple short-term mission teams have worked alongside Pastor Eric Cruz and the Hebron Church through VBS, youth camps, medical clinics, and even a police officer training clinic. Additionally, Pastor Chesser and Pastor Raley conduct pastor training seminars there.
Ministry Partners
SUMNER COUNTY, TN
First Baptist Hendersonville is in Southwest Sumner County, TN, but our nearby area of gospel witness extends into other areas of the county including Gallatin and Goodlettsville. We reach these areas through a variety of church initiatives and through our partnership with several Christ-centered non-profit organizations.
