First Baptist Special Friends Ministry exists to be a safe, positive, and joy-filled place where children and adults with intellectual and developmental differences can experience the love of Christ.

Special Friends hopes to expand Connect Groups to be offered at all three hours. We are excited to see this ministry expand and grow!
Security Procedures:
Special Friends has a dedicated area with leaders who understand the unique security challenges Special Friends face. All parents and guardians are asked to walk Special Friends to their class and pick up after.
Special Friends classrooms are located on the far side of the Kids Ministry Hallway, just passed the Preschool Ministry back entrance.
Peer Place
Peer Place is a weekday program for adults 22 and older with developmental and learning differences. Peer Place offers hands-on classes that teach sustainable life skills, social development, and creative exploration! Peer Place emphasizes the dignity and value of all people as uniquely created by God for a purpose.
Serve with Special Friends
Special Friends is looking for teachers and volunteers to help expand to the other service hours on Sunday mornings, and to Wednesday nights!
