You can help make The Walk Weekend a great experience for our 7th-12th graders! Adults are needed to drive vehicles, host a small group of students in their home, bring food for the Saturday night meal, help with rec games, and so much more! Oasix Retreat is for 6th graders only, and is from September 21 - September 23. It is filled with games, worship and lots of fun with friends. To sign up, go to click here before Wednesday, September 12. The drop-off for the retreat begins at 4:00pm on the 21. We will depart around 4:30, and return to the church on Sunday, around 3:30pm.
This training takes place on Friday, September 21, from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM, and Saturday, September 22, from 8:00 AM-5:30 PM. The class will be taught by Tennessee Baptist Mission Board trainer, Jacque Turner. Upon completion of this 11-hour course, you will become a certified ESL instructor with the North American Mission Board. The cost is $30/person and is payable at the training location. Family Dedications are a special event at First Baptist.
