Equipping Classes

Bible study doesn’t just happen on Sunday morning. Equipping Classes are weekly Bible studies that create an opportunity to be strengthened in your faith and in the knowledge of God’s Word. These classes are short-term and often seasonal. Classes are available on Wednesday nights, weekdays, and Saturday mornings. Check out all the classes currently offered.

THRIVE: A NEW CONNECT GROUP FOR SINGLE & SINGLE AGAIN ADULTS

Scripture Memory Will Change Your Life

In a digital age—where we can quickly locate answers to questions and solutions to problems—why would we need to memorize Scripture? In this 5-week class, using select passages from Robert Morgan’s book, 100 Bible Verses Everyone Should Know by Heart, we learn how our thought processes can be completely transformed by implanting God’s Words into our minds and hearts. During class, we will practice memorizing Scripture with a partner while examining fun strategies to speed up the process.

Rehab: Rediscovering the God Who Saves Me

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered 12 step program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain, or hang-ups of any kind. This is a safe environment to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling our lives.

 

 

Rise: A group for Young Widows 

Wednesdays | Ongoing | 6:15 – 7:30PM | Women | Room FMC 100 |

The death of a spouse is devastating and presents unique challenges for those with young children still at home. Rise group meets every Wednesday evening. Age-appropriate activities are available for your children birth to high school. This is an open, ongoing group, yet we are launching a new focus on August 21 for those who may be interested in jumping in for the Fall.
