Wilson and Babb Scholarship Application

If you are a church member and a graduating senior or currently in college, you can apply for a scholarship for the 2024-2025 school year. The Babb Scholarship is available only for Union University, and the Wilson Scholarship is open to applicants attending any college.

The Scholarship committee will grant scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year based on the following criteria.

The applicant should:

• Be a Christian.
• Be a traditional undergrad student enrolling in a regional accredited college or university.
• Demonstrate a need.  (Family income, number of siblings who are also in college, and other scholarships or financial aid which has been awarded will be considered.)
• Be an active member of First Baptist Church, Hendersonville or of a Baptist church within their college community.

Fill out all questions in the application.

Submit three letters of recommendation, one of which needs to be from a leader or minister of church in which you attend, one from school leadership, and one other. Letters may be emailed to acorbin@fbchtn.org or mailed to:

Submit application and 3 letters of recommendation no later than Wednesday, April 3.

*Awards limited to tuition for four years undergraduate study.  Awardees must reapply each year for scholarship consideration.

**You will be contacted by the Scholarship Committee as soon as a decision has been made. Please remember that applying does not guarantee that you will receive financial help.
