We Believe 2022

“One of the primary indicators of a person’s spiritual health is whether or not they are regularly digesting God’s Word.  Just as you must eat healthy food each day to nourish your physical body, you must eat spiritual food each day to nourish your spiritual body.

Several disciplines are essential to growth in our faith.  Prayer. Obedience. Stewardship. Sharing our faith with others. But it all begins with spending time in the Word of God. How else will we know about Him? We only learn about His plan for us through His Word.  We would not know about Jesus if it were not for God’s Word.  We would not know about the resurrection if it were not for God’s Word. We would not know about the Holy Spirit or the Second Coming or a thousand other spiritual truths if it were not for the Word of God.

I encourage you to faithfully commit to eat at the spiritual table as often as you would at your physical table.  We eat several meals a day and even plan our day around them.  It should be the same in regards to our time with the Lord in His Word.”
