Where is the Prayer ROOM?

One of the most powerful things we can do as a community and for our community is to pray for one another’s needs. For the past 30 years First Baptist Hendersonville has enjoyed a strong legacy of connecting others to God through the ministry of our Prayer Room. There, prayer team members give time, an hour a week, to praying for everyone who requests prayer for themselves or for loved ones. The prayers are followed up with a “Prayer Gram” – a kind note in the mail – encouraging those suffering illness, hospitalization, or a loss that we care about them and are committed to praying for them.

Located between our chapel building and the Kid’s Ministry entrance. The prayer room is a secure, quiet,

undistracted space set apart for connecting with God in prayer and seeking Him for the needs of those in our church and community. The Prayer room is a daily operation, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Active prayer needs are brought into the prayer room, posted on the prayer wall there, or submitted through our online prayer wall. Prayer needs are also called in via the prayer hotline 615-826-PRAY (7729).
