This is the confidence we have before him: If we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. – 1 John 5:14

About the Prayer Ministry

For the past 30 years First Baptist Hendersonville has provided a strong legacy of connecting others to God through the ministry of the Prayer Room. Located between the Chapel building and the Kid’s Ministry entrance, the Prayer Room is a secure, quiet, undistracted space set apart for connecting with God in prayer and seeking Him on behalf of others.

The Prayer Room is a daily operation, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Active prayer needs are brought into the Prayer Room and posted on the prayer wall there, or submitted through the website, social media, or church office. Prayer needs can also be called in via the prayer hotline 615-826-PRAY (7729).

How does it work?

Volunteers pray on behalf of others during their assigned time. Short ‘Prayer Grams’ are sent to those prayed for as a way of encouraging them and keeping the Prayer Room updated on any changes in requests. Volunteers manage the Prayer Hotline and respond to any voicemails requesting prayer.

In need of prayer? Send in your requests here. A minister or Prayer Team member will be in contact with you.
