Richard & Nancy Jenkins

Richard had emergency gall bladder surgery on January 7th. He has been sick all week due to a very infected gall bladder and light pneumonia. He did well in surgery, but the doctors advise he will be in ICU for several days before being admitted to a room. He is in Hendersonville Hospital. Of course, no visitors at all. He does not have Covid.

I am asking nothing but prayer for a continued recovery. Thank you. Nancy Jenkins

Jennifer "Jenn" Bakker

Jenn is having a double mastectomy on Tuesday, January 12th at St Thomas midtown at 10:00 am! She would appreciate all the prayers she could get! She's asking that we pray that she doesn't have to have chemo or radiation after this! She has two teenager daughters.

Judy Hasty

Patti Grigsby, my dear friend of almost 40 years is scheduled for neck surgery on January 19. This will be her fourth major surgery on her spine. Please pray for she and her husband John as he cares for her, and the doctors as they operate.

Gracious God. We love you. You are the center of our joy and the strength of our lives. We pray against the spirit of anti Christ, false witness, terrorism, idolatry, sexual immorality, sorcery, leviathan, jezebel, witchcraft, hatred, wars, pestilences, famine, divination and violence. We pray that the spirit of darkness be lifted from America and the scales would be lifted from peoples eyes that they may see the truth and be set free. Your word says in I Corinthians 6:9-11: "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God." We pray for a return of your people to the fear of the lord and that the ancient foundations of American be not removed and that you would bring men and women to a place of repentance and forgive our sins. Please forgive us Lord! We are all guilty! Give us hearts to know you that we might return to you. Jeremiah 24:7 says: Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the LORD; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart. Help the President to act under the guidance of your Holy Spirit. You raise up our leaders and you take down, so help us to put our trust in you and not any person. You have this nation in your hands and are not willing that any should perish, but all come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9. We ask that you give the President his family and administration the mind of Jesus Christ and fill them with your holy spirit. Surround him with Godly council and that all elected officials and world leaders will have wise counsel and have a heart for God. We ask that you will forgive the sins of our land and heal our land. We pray that corruption in our nation be exposed and your justice prevail. Have mercy on us all. Grant us your peace and direction. We pray for revival in our hearts and churches. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and healing for all of those affected by the coronavirus. Lord in your loving kindness and tender mercies hear our prayers and let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We give you glory for moving by your spirit and answering our prayers. In Jesus name Amen

Prayer update for my friend Joe H. Joe is in hospital with Covid. Is on a ventilator/ coma . Waiting on CT results regarding neurological responses , which have been undetectable using other methods.

I am a 32 year old single mother to an 8 year old daughter. I was unable to give her the Christmas she deserves due ti me loosing my job because of covid and not having enough sick time. I am also on the line of becoming evicted and i have reached out to numerous of resources but funding is low. Please pray for us

My brother-in-law has covid and he went back to the hospital for the secnd time today. They told him he needed to be in the hospital but that there were no beds so they sent him home! My sister and their younger son both had symptoms. My sister tested negative and their son tested positive. Their 2 daughters have no symptoms. Please pray for them!

Prayers asked for J.W. & Louise Berry. J.W. has had a fall and is in the hospital with a broken neck. The couple just celebrated their 71st anniversary on Christmas Eve. He is 91-years-old. Thanks for your prayers.

Prayers asked for Cameron Desoto, friend of Marlene Ruppert's granddaughter. Cameron is 27-years-old and in liver failure. His kidneys have started to fail also. Cameron and his family could use our prayer support.

Jerry Lander's mother, Linda Landers is in the hospital in Orangeburg, SC recovering from a recent stroke. She will have to spend a few weeks in rehab after leaving hospital. Jerry and Nancy are church members. Jerry teaches an adult connect group and Nancy teaches a Kindergarten class.

Joyce Racine

Please pray for Joyce Racine and family upon the death of her husband Chuck. Chuck had leukemia and an abcess on his lung and brain. The Racine's have been members for 11 years. They are members of Fred Bracey’s connect group. Joyce also is a caregiver to her sister at home, 92-year-old Gwen Nichols. Please pray.

Dec 21 Request: Please pray fervently for us. Chuck is very, very sick. We are at Vanderbilt and the doctors have said there is no hope.

Dakota & Cara Angell

Dakota and Cara both have COVID-19. Cara is 27 weeks pregnant. This is their first child and they are worried. Pray their symptoms will be minimal and that the baby will be unscathed from the virus.

Mike and wife, Jackie Patrick just tested positive for COVID. He's had a rough couple of nights, the days seem to be better. Jackie seems to be doing OK. Also their daughter, Erin Cortner, also tested positive. She is doing OK. She has 3 kids which makes things more complicated.

Gary Petty

Gary asked for healing prayer for Martha, his wife. Martha, for weeks, has been experiencing the COVID-19 virus, possibly for the second time. Doctor and ER trips have not helped, and he believes potentially helpful drugs have not been prescribed. She is showing serious effects of the virus. Gary and Martha have been FBCH members for many years. They are members of Bobby William’s Connect group. Please pray for God’s healing care.

Shirley Parrish

Jan 4 Update: Please continue to pray for Keith. He is very sick.

Dec 31 Request: Shirley asked prayer for her son-in-law, Keith Raisor. Keith has MDS (not muscular dystrophy) a major life threatening disease. His chemo. treatments have not helped, and upcoming stem cell and bone marrow transplants may not solve his problem. He is a Christian and is 61 yrs old.
