At First Baptist, our NextGen ministry has a plan and pathway to help you as a parent navigate that journey, and partner with you in the process.
Just as your child will grow physically, your child needs to grow spiritually. God commands parents to teach their children to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength” (Deut. 6:5). Jesus says the same thing in Matthew 22, but includes the mind. Our NextGen strategy uses four words to help children and teenagers grow spiritually in their mind, their heart, their hands, and their lives.
