The Babb Center is the faith-based counseling ministry of First Baptist Church Hendersonville.
The Babb Center exists to deliver help and hope to individuals and families in the midst of times of need. The mission of the Babb Center is to become an expression of God’s healing work in the world through sharing truth through God’s Word, the wisdom God has given others, and what we have learned in our relationship with Him.

- Monday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
LENGTH OF SESSIONS
Sessions are generally 1 hour in length.
WHAT IF I CAN’T AFFORD THE FEE?
Limited benevolence funds are available to assist with part of the fee.
DO YOU OFFER COUNSELING FOR CHILDREN?
We see children age 3 and up, though particular counselors may have an age limitation.
ARE CLINICIANS LICENSED?
Some of our clinicians are licensed and some are in the process of becoming licensed. We have Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Psychological Examiner, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, and a Psychiatrist.
