Shortly after moving to Hendersonville in 2001, Linda began working a few hours each week at FBC duplicating sermons on cassette tapes for homebound and other members. In the past 15 years, she has worked as media assistant as well as worship ministry assistant for the preschool and children’s choirs, student choirs and orchestra, and eventually, the School of Fine Arts. The FBC School of Fine Arts grew to a full time endeavor where Linda and the SoFA faculty encouraged students of all ages to learn and use their talents in praise and worship of our loving Father. Linda recently moved to the Administration Department to fill the Accounting/Human Resources Specialist role.
After managing a house full of menfolk – her husband, David, and four sons, Daniel, Taylor, Austin and Jake – Linda welcomed the addition of her daughter in love, Sarah. Most recently, Sarah and Daniel added Gracie to the mix as David and Linda’s first grandchild. When not working or loving on her family, Linda also enjoys gardening, reading and going to the beach to relax. One of her favorite verses is “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
