Director of Women’s Ministry
A native of a small country town in Indiana, Cheryle Jaggers came to First Baptist in 2006 to serve as the Director of Women’s Ministry. A graduate of Oakland City University in Indiana, she earned a degree in Business Administration. She came to Nashville to work as a business trainer and consultant. Prior to coming to FBCH, Cheryle also served with her husband Rick in various ministry positions at Centerpoint Baptist Church here in Hendersonville. She and her husband Rick have one daughter, Kendall, a graduate student at UT Knoxville where she serves as a teaching assistant for the English Department. Cheryle is a member of the worship team here at FBC and she spends her time on staff ministering to women through a variety of ways. She facilitates Bible studies and designs special events. She also organizes mission trips and local outreach projects and provides encouragement and counseling. Her passion is to create ministries that “connect women and transform their lives.” Cheryle loves Mexican food, chocolate, the NFL and the beach. Cheryle has a Masters of Christian Studies degree from Union University. Her favorite scriptures are: Psalms 139,Jeremiah 29:11 and Matthew 28:18 – 20.
